Mr. Dalton has over 30 years of line manufacturing and executive leadership experience. His leadership roles encompass a wide variety of disciplines from engineering, operations, supply chain and strategic sourcing to commercial and business development. During his career, Mr. Dalton led organizations generating over one billion dollars in annual sales. Most recently, he held the position of Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives focused on emerging technologies at Allegheny Technologies Inc. (NYSE:ATI).
Previously, his experience at ATI Allvac included serving as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing responsible for global sales in all market sectors including aerospace, biomedical, energy, oil & gas and distribution. Later as President of ATI Allvac and Corporate Group President of ATI Long Products, Mr. Dalton led major capital expansion programs, integrated and expanded the ATI powder materials business unit and negotiated multi-billion dollar long term agreements with major aerospace OEMs. He has held diverse operational leadership roles wherein he led transformation and growth strategy, strategic renewal of business units and restructured key global supply chain relationships in the nickel, titanium and specialty steel marketplace.
Mr. Dalton has been appointed twice as an independent consultant to the Department of Defense, wherein he served as advisor to National Defense Stockpile. He was recently appointed to the South Carolina Aerospace Board of Advisors and actively consults with entrepreneurial growth oriented businesses as well as both North Carolina and South Carolina regarding aerospace economic development programs.
